Should I be concerned?

I’m 40w today. I’ve had painful but tolerable cramping since 9pm yesterday

Is this normal?

That's normal looks like your bloody show, I'm 40+5 and I've been having that for the past three days along with cramping. Today I am finally having consistent contractions!! Hopefully we get to meet our babies soon!

Sounds like what happened to me. Thursday painful but tolerable cramps that were consistent. Woke up Friday more cramping still tolerable then I had a show similar to your picture. A few hours later all of a sudden they increased in intensity and were five minutes apart. More bloody show after this began. That started at 7 am (a few hours after I woke up) and had my little girl by 1:42 pm that day.

I had that too the day before my son came.  I had been having contractions about every 30 mins or so of varying intensity for 2 days then my fiance, daughter and I all laid down about 10:30pm & at about 11pm contractions became very intense and about every 5-7 mins apart.  Called my dad to come get our daughter and then my mom/step dad cause they were meeting us at the hospital.  My dad got to our apartment about 12:30, we left for the hospital about 12:45 and got to the hospital about 1 (had to wait for the car to warm up was -10) admitted at 1:31, water broke at 2:20 and our son was born at 2:49am.  Things moved so fast didnt even have time to get my epidural.  What a whirlwind but I at least remember every min of it where as I dont remember most of my daughter's
