I thought it was 28 weeks but when I logged into this app it said you’re 26 weeks welcome to the 3rd trimester!

As far as diagnostic coding goes in ICD-10, the third trimester starts at 28 weeks. I go off that because I see them all day lol

27 weeks is what I’ve always known as the 3rd trimester. I’m 26 weeks and 4 days so I was wondering the same thing but every app I follow says 27 weeks.

To be completely honest it makes no sense to me that 28 weeks would be the third trimester. In my personal opinion, 24 weeks should be it since that’s 6 months & not everyone makes it to the full 40 weeks. I’d say you’re definitely in your third trimester. But I’m not a doctor so. 🤷🏼‍♀️
