Chronic Daily Headaches
Hey so I need some good advice. I have chronic daily headaches (some migraines but not usually). I have had a headache every single day without a break for coming up on 3 years now. They change like either every hour, minute, second, day... it’s always the same 3-4 types. At one point last year we thought it might have been a brain tumour since many people in my family had them. This was still before I was diagnosed. So then after we found out it wasn’t I went to a different neurologist and she prescribed a couple different types of pills and vitamins that could help. After about a year of constantly changing the medication (because nothing changed anything) my dad cancelled our next appt cause he didn’t want me constantly taking pills. I don’t think anyone in my family really believes that this is a real problem. I can’t think or concentrate, I feel like I’m walking on clouds, sometimes it feels like someone’s stabbing me in the head repeatedly, sometimes I can hear my head throbbing so much that I have to close my eyes and just stop what I’m doing. I’m not old enough to go to a doctor on my own yet, but I need help. It’s starting to effect my grades and my mental health. Does anyone have even a shred of advice?
