Russian Roulette?

Question

Did anyone else see the story of the “Russian roulette” game two police officers were playing? If not I added screenshots below...
Does anyone think there’s a lot more to this story than what is being reported? Or do you think it’s a made up story to cover up something else? 
Also, do you think involuntary manslaughter (a possible sentence of 3-10 years) is appropriate?

It sounds really stupid, but I wouldn't go around doubting people's stupidity, it doesn't seem to have very many limits.

Something feels off here... I don’t think we are getting the full story. I find it hard to believe that two officers were playing with a loaded gun like that. I also don’t get where the “involuntary” part comes in.... you knew the gun was loaded and knowingly pulled the trigger.

So many questions and issues. 
1. Hendren and the other male officer were on duty, she was not. Why were they at the apartment at all? 
2. When they began to play roulette, article says the first trigger pull was aimed “away” and toward wall/floor/etc— theoretically this could’ve busted through into another unit, correct? Why risk hurting innocent people? 
3. Next two shots were fired “at” one another with Alix getting shot with the third “pull” of the trigger. It could’ve easily been Hendren. Other guy was leaving. It seems fishy that they would be doing this while on duty. 
4. When the officer was shot they didn’t call for ambulance— since they were on duty I’m assuming they had their car/cars and could go on and take her quickly but ems may have been able to help her stabilize
I’m hoping these two are immediately suspended Without Pay and that Hendren is fired for playing roulette— if this in fact occurred.

Explain why this is not first degree murder? There should be a new law that states that anyone caught playing Russian Roulette is charged with first degree murder or intent to kill... because there is no way u thought one of you was gonna come out alive... also why not shoot each other in the Foot then if you "didn't mean to kill her"

What the fuck did they think was going to happen? They are all at fault. If I saw someone "playing" that I would lose my shit, I wouldn't be passive and just tell them to stop and then leave. That's is insane.

I think made up by those present to cover up something else. I can’t believe a police office of all people would willingly play Russian Roulette. Since she died it’s convenient she can’t say otherwise so I say cover up. Since the story can’t be confirmed I agree with the charge and sentence. If she lived and confirmed she was willing I’d say no charge.
