I love my husband he can be so thoughtful and caring and wonderful and can be such a slob... I'm not a neat freak by any means but if I didn't ask he would leave clothes, dishes, pop cans, everything just laying around for days.

I just need to vent it's so frustrating. We are TTC so im trying to get us both into healthier cleaning habits before we have even more mess going on. He gets to things eventually but he will swear up and down that he will do it on his day off or before he goes to bed and then that passes and it's not done. Like just don't lie about it. He also says he doesn't notice the full cat box, popcorn on the floor, trash beside the trashcan. I wish i could be so oblivious to mess. I take care of kids all day i don't want to come home and take care of my husband.

Just now i scrubbed clean the bathroom toilet and all so I asked him to vacuum the living room. He did it no trouble but when i commented how he forgot popcorn under his desk he flipped out and said he would get it by hand. Why? It's a lot just use the vacumm hose.

We talk and make to do lists but just goes back to being how it is. So annoying. He tries but come on man!
