Were married so it's not an option to not financially support each other.

Mine? Yes because I help him financially and we live together and are planning our lives together.

If the two people are married, yes. Both parties in the relationship need to be able to provide but if you need a little extra support..
If the person is just a boyfriend or girlfriend, no.

For me I believe if you are living together or married it’s a bit more expected. Whereas if we’re not living together I wouldn’t really expect him to help me out financially.

It depends, why you need help, how long you been together also if he has the means to help you

We’re engaged, but we still help each other out when need be. Usually he helps me because I’ve been in nursing school with no money. What’s mine is his and vice versa. 
Unless they’re using it Willy-nilly, not using it for things you agreed on, or just plain blowing it, you should help each other out. People can be so stingy 🙄
