Start off little by little and buy some diapers, buy the necessities. You don’t have to spend $300 on your baby’s clothes. You don’t have to have the highest name brand essentials. You can buy secondhand clothes, you can ask for WIC, you can save the money you need for after your baby shower. And if you think you can’t afford a baby shower? You don’t need a thousand decorations, a thousand games, etc. The dollar tree sells a bunch of decorations and you can make your own party favors for under $10. You CAN do this.
