So my boyfriend and I have been working ALOT. Im 25 weeks pregnant and also go to school and I work two doubles a week and he works about three and we only have two days off. Both of us on tuesdays and I have Thursdays and he has saturdays off. So today he got called into work. (We work at the same restaurant, I’m a waitress and he is a cook/prep) because our other prep cut his finger almost clear off and after that he was asked to work the night shift too because a cook called out! So I’m working the morning shift into the beginning of dinner and he has a break in between his shift! He says he is going home to start our sheets in the wash and I say alright and continue working. A few hours later when I’m off he comes back and picks me up to take me back home so he can work the night shift. Well we have to pick up my medicine and we go home. We walk into our room and he surprises me with a cooling gel memory foam mattress topper for our memory foam bed!! I’ve been talking about getting one since November due to my back aching but saving for our baby boy was priority. But since he has worked so many extra shifts he got it for me as a surprise :’) not only that, he did all of the laundry. Folded it and cleaned our little house! Even scrubbed my dogs food/water bowls 😭 we have our moments of fighting and arguing cause he can say some dumb things but he is such a sweet and loving man. I truly love him with all my heart 💓
