Ectopic pregnancy
So after a year of trying I finally found out that I was pregnant on 12/21/18. I had some bleeding and had blood tests done 2 times a week. It started to almost double every two days but it was off by a few hundred from where my levels should have been. I got an ultrasound and found out I was having a n ectopic pregnancy. I was early enough to get the methotrexate shot but it didn't work. On Friday, two weeks after the shot, I went to the emergency room with extreme pain on my right side. I had to go into surgery to remove my right tube. I feel completely destroyed. I can still have a healthy pregnancy with my left tube but I'm terrified this will happen again. My doctor checked my other tube and showed me pictures saying that my other tube is completely healthy. We can start trying again after I heal but I don't want to let my significant other down. I'm scared and upset and I'm not ready to move on from this even though we both want a baby so bad.
