NIPT, do they always tell you the gender?

I had the NIPT testing done last week at 12 weeks and totally spaced on asking about the results for gender! I was so hyper focused on the other outcomes, do they always know what the gender is, or only if you ask? I have my next appointment on February 12 and I feel like I’m going to explode without knowing!

I got my NIPT results on Friday (took test on 1/16/19). I didn't ask for gender but it was on the test Team Boy💙

When I did mine they asked me if I wanted the sex and I said yes. The nurse checked it off on the form. Call and ask if they have it but if you did ask for it they might not have done it.

I think so. The gender was on my paperwork along with the other test results

Which one did they do? 
I had the panorama test done and had to take the form to the lab to get it done and theres a section on it thats asks whether you want to test for gender or not. We decided to do it, but the nurse said they wouldn’t automatically test for it unless we asked.

There's two parts to the nipt screen, the ultrasound where they do the measurements and then the blood test that confirms everything. The blood test is where they can tell you the gender so if you had the blood test, I would imagine they would know even if they didn't share the information with you. 
Are genetic counselor was super nice, so if I were you I would just call them I'm see if they happened to check the gender with the blood. 😁
