I’ve been searching down a chair for the nursery and decided on sticking with finding a glider bc any other chair would just be unused eventually and just become that chair....you know the one where you just throw everything on top of thinking I’ll put it away later. Well I found a glider that I like a few weeks ago for sale used but it sold within 10 mins of the post going up. 50 bucks looked brand new, not like all the other where you can tell the cushions are all worn in. I just sent it to my mom to tell her I was disappointed. Then Just today I found a pretty identical chair for 60!and messaged him right away asking if he though I would manage to fit it into my corolla, he didn’t seem hopeful and I had no other car. I didn’t feel like running around, lazy, but I am in pain, but I didn’t feel up to quickly borrowing a car from my parents right then and there. I asked if I could pick it up tomorrow so I could actually arrange something. He said that he has gotten a bunch of offers and he wasn’t willing to hold it but he would let me know if it was still available. Again, lazy, but I didn’t want to arrange a possible car if there wasn’t a chance it was still there, I’ve watched chairs like this go and I knew there wouldn’t be a chance. So I told him ok I’ll let it go have a good day. As I was walking out the door for work....there was the foot rest sitting at my door and my mother carrying the chair! I was like omg is this the one?! She was so confused. I told her I just messaged a guy about this chair just a few hours ago and she told me that she saw it and knew it was one I liked, and like how new it looked and made a offer. Made my day. I let the guy know and told him thank even if I wasn’t the one to pick it up. I just found it so funny.
