I had a perfect pregnancy and a perfect induction/labor up until time to push...

I pushed for an hour-an hour and a half and when the doctor can in to check she said the baby was stuck under my pelvic bone and his head was a little swollen then walked out of the room...

My epidural had started to wear off at this point and I was feeling everything..

I pushed for ANOTHER hour - hour and a half when the doctor finally came back and said he’s still stuck and his head is really swollen we are going to have to do a c-section... I asked if my baby was okay and was told he was fine and that the c-section wasn’t an emergency..

40 MINUTES later they finally took me back to c-section.. I was unable to lay flat bc it was hurting my shoulders and back from pushing so long and I couldn’t breathe so they finally knocked me out..

When I came back to, my husband and the doctor informed me that baby baby boy was born dead.. my husband said he was so blue when they pulled him out and took him off to the side.. my little rainbow baby was dead, with no heartbeat and not breathing for 21 minutes! They worked on him and FINALLY was able to bring him back.. and he was transported to a hospital 3 hours away.. Thank God they allowed me to be transferred with him.. we spent 14 days in the NICU and today I’m so happy to say that my baby boy is PERFECTLY healthy and hitting every milestone that he’s suppose to either on time or earlier than he’s suppose to!
