Ladies, i am at a loss and i dont know what to do. My little one is almost 3 months old. (She was born at 30+1). She has not been growing like she should, so the Nicu had started fortifying my breastmilk. They began with Neosure (1 teaspoon for every 3 oz).... well she also has acid reflux. She is on prevacid as well (1.5mL twice a day). Well my little girl would do very well with the fortifyed milk for the first day, then the second day she would be even more fussy, and then by the third day she would drink only a little and then cry and she grunts and crunches a Lot throughout being fed... now it sounds like her acid reflux is acting up, but it shouldnt be if she is on meds for it... well after a couple of weeks of battling with the Neosure, we recently switched to Enfacare. I feel like the same thing is happening with this one. I follow their instructions to a T and she acts like she just cannot stand eating... but if i put in just a bit less than what i was told to do (like half of it), she seems to do just fine..i do burp her frequently and have even tried changingup the temperatures of the milk and nothing has helped. ladies I really need help. Every feed is a battle filled with her and me crying!
