My baby consistently wakes up at night sometime between 1 and 3am and stays up for at least an hour crying. I go in and rub his back in the crib to calm him down. He calms down. I leave the room and a minute later he starts crying again. This process continues for an hour / hour and a half. I am so exhausted and me and my husband are not very nice to each other at the end. I keep trying to let him cry it out a little too. First I wait 5 minutes then 10 min but he is very hysterical and it doesn’t seem to be working. My son is about 8 months old. Please help!
