Currently in the heart center of the PICU at the children’s hospital with our sweet little 3 week old baby love. Last night around 8pm he started acting opposite to how he usually does. Wouldn’t eat, wouldn’t pee or poop. Just wanted to sleep and stayed limp. His skin was ice cold and losing colour so we took him to the pediatric emergency room. His heart rate was in the lower 300s

He has a form of tachycardia that they haven’t for sure pinpointed just yet but he’s being given a cocktail of medications and we’ve been told to expect at least a two week stay here.

Always trust your gut instincts, mamas. The nurse told me that had we not brought him in due to feeling off about how he was acting, his body would’ve just given up. I’d be lying if I said that I was completely terrified of what’s to come but I’m trusting that we have a great team of nurses and doctors working to get our sweet baby back to where he should be.

Please send up all of the prayers and good thoughts that you can. My heart is so sore and heavy from not being able to hold him and snuggle him. Hold all of your babies extra tight for me and tell them how much they mean to you. 💛
