Are you satisfied with your life? If you died tomorrow are you happy with where you're at?

I had a friend die recently... no warning.  Blood clot.   33 years old.   Made me look at where I am in life a lot differently.

Yeah, I get that. I lost my husband in 2005 and my youngest son the year after. That'll definitely put thing's in perspective. 
I've learned to live each day to the fullest. Enjoy what comes my way and let go of negativity.

I would not be happy if I died tomorrow. I still have to be a mom which for me is only a few months away. I’m sorry about your friend. I hope you are doing okay.

Would I like more time to see how some things play out? Absolutely. 
But if I had to die today, I’d be okay with where I am.

I almost died when I was 20. Doctor said if I would have waited a day longer to come in, I most likely would have died. I was in so much pain that I didn't care if I lived or died as long as the pain stopped. I thought about death in that moment. Thought about my life. And I felt oddly calm about it all. While I hadn't done everything I had wanted to, I was pretty happy with my life and grateful for the time I had. I'm still grateful and if I died soon then yeah there would be things I wanted to experience that I haven't gotten to yet, but I'd still be pretty satisfied.
