I had extremely irregular periods, and I actually conceived the last day of a period and now I have a healthy 2 year old daughter! :)

I did , my doc says I have pcos, I’ve been trying for 3 years and am finally 7 weeks along. Just took a few meds to make me ovulate .

If you ovulate. The trouble comes with actually figuring out when you ovulate. Pcos most commonly results in long anovulatory cycles. If ovulation happens it's not typically when any app would predict because of the irregularities. LH tests aren't very helpful either because of the hormonal imbalances. 
So it's not impossible but it might be more difficult.
