Anyone been to triage before?

Question

I went to triage about 30 minutes ago to get pains and contractions checked on, anyone else whose been how long were you there?
Update: I was there about an hour and a half. Was given something to stop the uterine straining/ contraction stuff.

I was there for 8 hours. Had strong contractions 3 minutes apart so I was told to go and I waited forever, got monitored, was told to walk for two hours then monitored again and sent home. I’m glad the baby was doing great but I was so bummed because I thought it was the real thing.

Was there last night for 3 hours, got home at 1:30am. I was having contractions (still a bit early at 36w 3days), so they needed to monitor me and my BP was high so I had to have blood work done. All was good though, not dilating, but I have to go back in if they get stronger. I’m being induced on the 8th so he just needs to stay put until then.

I've never been...but when we did our hospital tour we were told if we come in expect to stay about 3 hours

Yea, I was there a good 4 hours the other day hooked up to all the monitors and on fluids because I was sick and having contractions.

A few minutes but I was 18 weeks so they treated it very urgent. This took me straight to back and had my boyfriend bring my ID, insurance card, etc back to the front.

Psh I swear when I go to triage I’m always there for hours 🙄 I swear they have no urgency at my hospital in triage
