What age do you stop fixing your child/children plate ?

At what age should you stop fixing you child’s plate?

Answer

When they can do it themselves unless you want to control portions a bit or you feel like pampering them/doing something extra nice.

Whenever you want or they ask. Theres no magic age. 
I’m 25 and my mom made my plate at thanksgiving 🤷🏻‍♀️

I still make my man's plate a good majority of the time 😂😂. Kids will eventually go on the independent streak and if not you choose when your done 🤷

For the most part my 8 and 9 year old make their own plates. I do it on days were we are rushed or super hot foods

I started making my own plates around 5-6 years old but the. Spent the rest of my childhood struggling with portion control -
So I think When your child is old enough to understand that then go ahead.

My daughter is almost nine and I serve dinner to her almost every night. She enjoys cooking with me so when she cooks she serves everyone too. It works for us
