I just got my cycle again... after it just ended 7 days ago! I was highly confused this morning when I noticed blood in the toilet. Recently, I started trying to work on my skin’s breakouts. I’ve always had some form of acne since puberty started. Went to the dermatologist and the doc figured it was probably hormonal.

During the last few years I’ve noticed some major changes from heavier cycles, missing/irregular periods, thicker body hair in some areas, etc. So i didn’t think the doctor was too far off. Long story short, it was recommended that i go on birth control, to help regulate my hormones and control my hormonal acne breakouts.

I am going into my mid20s and have never been on any form of birth control. Mainly because I know that I am terrible at taking medications on a daily basis, which is why I’m here, a few days after starting them. I took the pill for two days and the time I started them ended up not working with my life/work schedule. I kept forgetting about them since they are so new. Now I’m having another period. 🤦🏾‍♀️😏😡
