I was discharged home today after four nights in the hospital after my c-section at 34+6.

I have cried all day because my twin baby boys did not get to come home with me.

I only live 30 minutes from the hospital but have a 3 year old who needed me today after spending four nights away from her. My heart feels so broken not having them home.

The neonatologist said we will hopefully have them home this weekend. It feels like an eternity away.

Just had to share. I know the NICU is where they need to be. It’s just hard. I know others know this pain too. 💔
