Gender blood test?

How do they shi the early gender blood test and it's it covered by insurance or do you have to pay for it? I've never heard of our clinic doing them and I want one so bad!! I can't wait another month to see!!

Regular drawing blood ! I got mines done Thursday waiting for the results!!

My insurance would have covered it because the diagnostic reason is really for genetic testing. The gender is just a side note. 
But I didnt opt for any generic testing so I chose to do a private U/S instead with my other kids ❤️

My doctors offered Maturnit and my insurance did not cover it. It would have been 300 out of pocket. We considered Sneek Peek which is 80 but I didnt want to risk the wrong result be contaminating it. So we did a private US at 15+5 for 70.

Insurance wouldn’t tell me if they covered or not until after it was done 🙄 they said “it could cost you $0 or $1000 but we can’t tell until after we’re sent the claim” so I decided not to do it through my doctor. I did the at home blood test called sneak peek at 9+2 and it was correct.
