my boyfriend and i work in the same place, a restaurant, with eachother where we both met. we have a daughter together and i have been on maternity leave for about a month now. i was always unsure and anxious about hus friendship with another coworker who is a female. she knows im not too fond of her, and i was never fons of her because she was always around him and talking to him alot. i must admit i am a very jealous and possessive person and its hard to hide-- and it was definitely hard to hide whenever they would speak and thats what sucked about working with my significant other. anyway, before i gave birth, the female friend through me a mini baby shower at our workplace which was nice of her. i expressed my appreciation and what not. so fast forward, my boyfriend and her text ALOT. she does have kids and a boyfriend of about 8 years i believe but its just always been weird how often her and my bf text even though its casual, they are just really long conversations. she does not text me as often at all and recently on her day off, she went to work and gave my boyfriend some gifts, im assuming for his bday since it was around christmas or as christmas gifts. he got about 4-5 small gifts from her total and it got me really upset. i think i wouldnt have been mad if she got a small gift for our daughter too but to see him come home with the gifts when she didnt get me any (sounds childish..) got me pissed. that set everything off for me and gor me really iffy to where i would check their messages and i saw a message from her to my bf that briefly said "it would be a different story if YOU got gifts for me too..." because he lets her know i am not fond of their close friendship. idk if im overreacting and being a crazy girlfriend soni need some input on whats going on. please!!
