Question for non-FTMs
Does anyone else not know what they’re going to do with their older children when they go into labor? I’m laying wide awake in bed at 2 am having anxiety over this right now😩
The only family that lives in the same state as us are my parents, and they live 45 minutes away. I’m due March 13th. My mom has had a cruise booked for a year from March1-March13. My parents are going out of town for five days mid February. My dad definitely does not feel comfortable caring for my 2 year old daughter by himself, if I were to go into labor when my mom is gone.
Last time around, my biggest fear was going into labor while at work, and now I’m honestly praying to go into labor at 8 am on an early weekday morning 2-3 weeks before my due date so my daughter can be in daycare and my husband can be with me and my mom can watch my daughter at night. That is the only scenario, and an unlikely one at best, that I’m even remotely prepared for. But my daughter came two weeks early on her own so maybe I’ll get lucky?
Please tell me I’m not the only one panicking. I have no idea what I’m going to do if I go into labor in the middle of the night and my husband is the only one who can stay at home with my daughter.
