Advice on this instead of using actual bassinet??

I need some advice as a FTM. I’m not sure if I should just stick to an actual bassinet or get something like this? It has the playpen in the bottom and a bassinet and change table on top.. also if I get this one should I also buy an actual change table?? Thanks

For a pack n play, the part where I have the arrow is considered the bassinet. The part on top is a napper and isn’t supposed to be used for unsupervised sleep. 
My daughter slept in the actual bassinet part until she maxed out the weight limit for it and then we lowered it to the bottom where she stayed until 6 months.

I used pack n play for first n planning on using for second. I love it. It's breathable. U don't need to buy a diaper changing area. N when baby outgrows. Easy to store

Yes! Pack n plays are a better investment than a bassinet.baby will use it for a long time.you can put it right next your bed at night.i love them.

I am a third time mom and with my daughter I did a bassinet and then my son I decided on the pack in play. Honestly you get so much more use out of it and it allowed my son to stay in our room way longer than May daughter did with the bassinet. We will be using the pack and play again with this baby and I 100% recommend over a bassinet.

That’s the exact one I’ve been using for my daughter and she’s almost 5 months now. She slept in the upper part for maybe a month and then I’ve put her in the actual pack n play. I love it ! I bought a playard mattress to put on top so she can be confortable. She still sleeps in my room because I breastfeed and she wakes up every 3 hours to feed.

I’ve honestly never used the changing table on it as she has her room and I’d rather use the actual changing table as she moves too much.

I have this. I will be using it with my twins when they first come home instead of putting them in their cribs. I’m not using the top attachments though only the bassinet part

That's what we are using until we move him to his crib. We do have a changing station on top of this in his nursery

My oldest used his pack n play until 14 months and then I shifted him to a toddler bed (he could climb out of the pack n play by himself and I needed it for little brother).

I wanted to get a bassinet for my second baby but realized babies grow out of it really fast. Practically right away. Most bassinets only accommodate a weight max of 15-20 lbs, so by the time they’re 5-6 months old they’ll be way too big. Whereas, if you get the pack and play that comes with a bassinet etc., I find that’s a way better investment. Cause once they grow out of the bassinet and changing pad, they can still sleep and play in the pack and play.
I personally haven’t, but my sister has 4 kids and she’s used a pack and play for all 4 and recommends it. Also has used it up till they’re about a year old.

I use an arm's reach co sleeper. Never used a changing table so it was a waste for me. I'm pretty lucky and get alot of hand me downs though. I have a pack and play for later.  I have a crib that's never been used either lol.  It's really whatever you want or think you'll use. Nothing is really a need besides having a bed for baby to sleep but a newborn needs constant care or you need to check on them alot or put their paci back in so the co sleeper works best in my opinion
