Flu advice?

This might sound stupid. We are TTC and currently in the 2wk wait (4dpo) I've come down with terrible flu I feel awful hubby is having to take care of our little one. Is it ok to take remedies or medication for flu? What should I avoid? Will it affect our potential baby? Or implantation? I know we're most likely not pregnant but I don't want to do or take anything that's going to cause harm. TIA
