Too much vitamin C can have negative effects during pregnancy, including links to preterm births. This is why it says right on the package not to take it if your are pregnant. 
They are probably being over cautious, and taking it once or twice likely won’t cause enough of an overdose to be a problem, but I’m not a doctor. 
If you want to be cautious I would follow the warning on the package or at least consult your doctor first.
