Horseback rider w yeast infection HELP

hi all, so I just got my first yeast infection a few days ago. I’m on a strict schedule with training my horse and am supposed to ride everyday. I tried to ride the other day and was way too uncomfortable I could barely just walk on my horse. I need to get back to riding, but my infection is still there. Will I make it worse by getting back on? Should I just wait it out?
