I’m 10 weeks and I was admitted into the hospital for appendicitis I was in pain so my doctor gave me a dose of morphine to help with the pain. I asked if it was safe and they said it’s safe but with all medication even Tylenol there do come risks, they did an ultrasound about 45 minute after giving me morphine and the baby was fine with a good heartbeat but they gave me another dose a day later for the pain and I was giving antibiotics and Benadryl and also Zyrtec all which the doctors said was safe. I have an ob appointment on Thursday but I’m so nervous and worried somethings wrong. Has anyone taken morphine while pregnant and everything turned out fine?
