1 month old gasping for air?

So my son is a month old and he’s been gasping for air and coughing really bad. I can’t imagine what it would be or if it’s normal. Did anyone else’s baby do this? I’m just asking so I know to take him to the doctor or not
Since I’m apparently a dumbass I just want to say I’m asking because he’s been doing it since he was born. The nurses never said anything about it. And when I look it up all the moms say it’s normal

Okay, for one. I thought this was a safe community that had no judgement, some of you lady’s frustrate the fuck out of me. (Excuse my language). For 2 here is no reason to get an attitude with this girl for asking a simple question, maybe she’s a young mom, maybe she’s a FTM THERE SHOULD BE NO JUDGEMENT OR ATTITUDE TOWARDS HER. 
Now, I would personally take him to the ER or if your insurance calls for it take him to an urgent care first, that’s how my insurance is unless urgent care is closed. Or If you don’t have transportation then I would definitely call 911.

My son did this as a newborn too a lot turned out he had stridor and reflux his pediatrician said as long as he isn't doing it for more then 15 sec or turning blue they don't do much they grow out of it which he did he's almost 8 months now of its bad they can do a little surgery with the flap on the throat to strengthen it
