Does age matter?

I’m 19 and I’ve been talking to this guy he’s 36 😬😬 I KNOW! I’ve never talked to someone over 25. My mom thinks it’s a bad idea, he’s a nice guy I’ve known him for some months we’re still friends right now but I know he wants to try something I’m just not sure yet.

I’ve ALWAYS dated older men (even my dads age)... that being said I was early to mid twenties before I started that. I don’t think an almost 40 year old should want anything to do with someone who JUST became an “adult”. You’re still really young, be safe.

There’s nothing “wrong” with it, but you both are at different stages in your life and i personally don’t think it can work. 
Also, it says a lot about him that he can’t get someone his own age. Idk I find it odd.
