Any insight?

Hi guys, I’ve recently been diagnosed with PCOS after issues following my misscarriage last July. According to my doctor my ovaries looked fine on the scan but I have the chemical side I.e the hormone imbalance. Are ovulation kits a waste of time? I’ve heard they show positive all the time for people with PCOS but I genuinely don’t have any clue as this is all new to me! Can anyone help?

I have mild PCOS, and I’ve been taking ovulation tests ..And I only get one peak every cycle..so it depends on the level of the PCOS..I suggest you try the LH tests..everyday for once cycle and see if the get more than one peak during g that cycle

They we're completely useless for me. Unless I really was ovulating 2 days before my period, which I don't think is possible, or I'm not ovulating at all. Plus my periods are anywhere from 35-75 days apart so I was using a lot of tests. PCOS manifests differently for everyone so maybe try the tests, but definitely don't count on them.

I can’t use them solely, but I do use them as a supplement. Using OPKs in addition to BBT charting and monitoring your CM and/or position will give the clearest picture.
