Woke up super early for no good reason. All 3 of my kids decided to wake up just then too. I was being harassed by my kids all morning. Food, diaper changes, clothes etc etc. (hubby sleeping peacefully in other room) So then I was like cool, baby is asleep it’s time for a relaxing birthday bath. So as I’m sitting in the tub with every toy my 3 and 5 year old could possibly fit around me while yelling at them to let me have my bath. (I gave up).

So there’s 3 feet of snow outside (I live in Indiana) and my sister calls needing a ride from work. Her boyfriends beemer wouldn’t have made it through the snow. So I’m naked, trying to get dressed, woke hubby up rudely cuz I’m trying to get him to watch the kids so I can drive out in this winter wonderland. But by some miracle he gets up, gets dressed, warms car up and is picking her up for me.

Through all that, I wouldn’t change a thing. I’m not selfish on my birthday. Everyday is about my kids. And my wonderful husband has his perks to. 💜
