IVF 2ww lots of period like cramps?

I had my day 3 fresh embryo transfer on 1/20. Starting on day 5 and everyday since, I've had period like cramps. Is this a  bad sign that AF is coming? Is it the progesterone? This is crazy to have been crampy this long. Beta isnt until 2/1. Anyone else have this happen?

I had my third transfer on 1/23 and am experiencing the same thing. I also had cramping and occasional sharp pains with my second transfer, google told me that it’s a sign of pregnancy so I got my hopes up only for my pregnancy test to me negative. In a normal pregnancy, it’s the hormones that causes these symptoms. With the IVF and transfer, you are giving yourself the hormones artificially so you have the same pregnancy symptoms even though you might not actually be pregnant. Don’t worry and don’t get excited about it. This time around I feel even more crappy and i constantly feel like I need to pee.

This happened to me with my first transfer and I was pregnant. I think it was the progesterone because I took it at night and then the cramps were always the worst then.
