I got my IUD Dec 26. And I’ve had my period for nearly a month now since January 2   Is this normal?

Answer

Irregular bleeding is a common side effect. This includes no bleeding, lighter bleeding, spotting, periods closer together or farther apart, heavier bleeding and prolonged bleeding. It can last up to first 6 months.
