Hi, Sorry for long post guys, can anyone please help with advice/personal experiences?

So I have PCOS amongst other probs. For about 6 weeks I've had lower right abdominal pain, like extreme discomfort rather than a stabbing pain or anything. Anyway as I also have IBS and chronic constipation I was originally treated with presumption it would be that. Dr now unsure what it is and has referred me for an ultrasound. Cyst or bowel blockage/damage being the most probable that he thinks. Anyway the scan date is another 5 weeks away and I really don't think I can wait longer. It actually feels like there's a large lump there (can't feel it externally I just mean that's how it feels to me) and I can't get comfortable...ever! Night time is soo much worse.

So my question is this, if it was a cyst and was ready to burst are there are any early warning signs, as I obviously don't want it to get that far? Also does this sound like anything you had similar? I know pelvic pain could be anything, just curious of other people's experiences.
