Hey everyone,

I currently have a 6 month old who is exclusively breast fed, and my period has not returned. My husband and I are TTC (yes we want them close in age) and I have yet to have a period. At 5 weeks postpartum I thought I did, but never bled again.

I took an ovulation test on Jan 3 that was positive! It’s the cheap strip type tests. I didn’t test again until Jan 20 and it was negative but strong! So I figured I’d ovulate soon. Forgot to test the next few days, then tested on the 26th and it was a lot lighter. I’ve tested the 27th and again today and it’s lighter and lighter.

We’ve had sex every day since the 20th (he just got home from deployment). My question is, do you think I can ovulate and get pregnant? Was the test on the 3rd a false positive? Did I possibly ovulate in between the 20th and 26th?
