Laura • A deaf Texan Mother to a nine year old daughter, and TTC for #2. Happily married for almost 10 years.

Hi,

I’m TTC#2, I’m 36 and I have a PCOS.

Here’s my story, I’m on my first cycle with

. I have been TC #2 for almost 9 years and we’ve tried everything. I found out that I was diagnosed with mild PCOS in 2016. It’s mild because I do get my period monthly and I conceived once, but I do gained weights rapidly, abnormal excessive hair, and acnes. My Ob-Gyn put me on Clomid for 7 months but no luck. It was a big mystery for me and my doctor, so we thought maybe my husband needed to be tested and unfortunately he has a low sperm counts. My Ob-Gyn referred me to the fertility specialist, I went to see him two weeks ago and we will try

. Today I just took Femara on my third day cycle.

Just wanted to share a journal with y’all because I have a hope for all of us.🤞🏼👶🏼

And wish me a good luck!!

Update 5/8/19:

I didn’t get a chance to go see the fertility specialist because they wanted to see my husband but he has been putting it off for a while. I think he’s trying to avoid it or scared to go. I don’t want to push him until he’s ready.

The other reason is I got a mass on my left breast around benign so I was recommended to her a biopsy in June. I’ve been getting checked in every 6 months for two years and I was required to get the last 3D mammogram before they let me go, however they found something in the ultrasound. Well, I’ll have to put the baby dust on hold for a while. Pray for the “it was nothing” results!! 🤞🏼
