The pressure to breastfeed is ridiculous! It’s getting annoying!
Since I’ve been pregnant people (friends/family) have been asking me “are you going to breastfeed?” My response is always “I’m planning on it but if I can’t then I can’t and I’ll do formula”-by this I mean my body is going to do what it wants 🤷🏻♀️ I know some women have a hard time producing milk and can’t get the hang of it. I’m planning on trying hard to breastfeed but if I can’t then what am I going to do? Be down on myself and feel like a failure? No! That’s what formula is made for. So anyways I’m getting to the point to where I’m going to say “you do what you want with your tits, let me worry about mine” 😂😂 Or just saying “No... no I’m not going to breastfeed” just to piss them off. Because even when I say yeah I plan on it, they insist on saying “you should at least try” or “3 months at least is best” or “yeah you’ll lose so much weight if you do”. Did I say I wasn’t going to try? I said yes I’m going to try!! **END RANT** 😂😂😂🤦🏻♀️
Has any moms had this experience while they were preg? What did you do or say??
