So I have hs which stands for Hidradenitis suppurativa a skin condition that causes lumps and then much more painful items to appear on my inner thighs, down there area, armpits, and under my breasts. Needless to say I hate shaving every time I do another seems to pop up and then the pain and embarrassment happens. It smells and finally once it’s done leaves an ugly scar that is either dark purple (that never fades btw) or bright pink like a pimple. My husband hates it when I don’t shave but it never seems to fail. I still have one the seeps from time to time from a wound that opens right at our wedding last June. I want to make my husband happy but the hair isn’t his thing. Drs haven’t said “don’t shave” but at the same time if I use a blade on an open wound that’s a scary thing for me. And creams like hair are a definite no no since the areas are sensitive and a lot of the time it burns like hell. Any other ladies with this problem as well? What do you do?
