Any partners with Type 1 diabetes and RE?

My husband is Type 1 diabetic with retrograde ejaculation.  His doctor told him he would just need some Sudafed (or other type of meds) to be able to ejaculate normally.  I’m just wondering if there is anyone who has conceived who has a partner with RE and is Type 1 diabetic.  Do you have any advice for us?  Was there any med that worked better? Was there any other considerations you had to make specific to the diabetes?

I see this is old but we conceived twice with sudafed. My husband isn’t diabetic but has complete RE. My daughter we used 180mg an hour before and conceived the third month. The second time we only used 120mg and conceived the 4th month. Had a chemical though.

My husband is also a type 1 diabetic with RE... And I have PCOS. So the odds are against us, but we aren't giving up. I'm morbidly obese and trying to drop some weight so that will help. I'm down 25lbs so far since June. Does your DH have a low sex drive? We aren't TTC because we rarely have sex. We've tried, Sudafed and Viagra but nothing works so far.

SO has had type 1 for half his life now. We've tried sudafed, horny goat weed, viagra. There are more we've tried but nothing has worked. Dr told us IVF may work but if it does thatll be our only option.
