Different midwife

Chesh • Mummy to Theodore and Daniel

I've lost count of how many different midwives I've seen throughout my pregnancy. It's been for various reasons, holidays, illnesses, being called away for home visits... But it would have been nice to have a little bit of consistency. Don't get me wrong, all of the midwives I have seen have been wonderful, but I still feel a little down about it because with my first I only ever saw 1 midwife through the entire pregnancy, up until I was in labour.

Either way, had an appointment today, bump is measuring right on track. I've been advised to call the physio department to ask about getting a belt for spd. Baby's heart sounds strong and healthy. I've put on 10kg (about 22lb?) since the beginning of the pregnancy. I've been told that based on how this pregnancy is going, and how well my last pregnancy and labour went, I could have a home birth if I want to. And that considering how quick my first was, I might have to prepare myself for an accidental home birth just in case... Officially I have less than 6 weeks to go now!
