I only knew for 48 hours
TTC for about a year... after some issues we used a Mosie syringe for the first time and got our first ever BFP last week (AF was 3 days late by the time I tested because I was so nervous it was just a slightly longer than normal cycle).
Went to the doctor to get HcG checked... He tells me I’m running a fever. Got a slightly panicked call from the same doctor the following day telling me my HcG was low and that the dates I’d given him didn’t match up (I’m tracking on two apps and timed BD to OPK). He orders me to the OB-GYN ASAP.
By now, I am freaked out, have spotting, and have to ask the OB-GYN to fit me into his full schedule. He tells me to come back after the weekend to test again, but mostly tells me about chemical pregnancies. He doesn’t outright say he thinks that’s what it is... but he spends some time going over it.
Of course, the next day the heaviest AF of all time is upon me, and it’s game over. Chemical pregnancy. 4w 4d.
I’m devastated, and I only knew I was pregnant for 48 hours. 😢
