Hi girls I’ve always traveled since my baby was born. He just turned 2 a few weeks ago and I’m wondering if they charge a regular seat if he’s going to be on my lap?

Because I was looking at flights and it’s charging me the same thing as my seat? And I’m wondering if that’s normal or I did something wrong while looking for the flight?

And I’m confused because it says infants under 2???

I’m wondering if I can leave it as it is or I will have to purchase a second seat??
