Brazilian Wax Anyone?

Help! 
I am incapable of shaving now! I'm to the point that I can't sleep because I haven't shaved in a month or two! Has anyone had a Brazilian wax? Give me pointers....anything!!
30 weeks few days, and I have 8 weeks left till hes here. Just want to feel more comfortable

I started getting Brazilian waxes when I was 22 weeks pregnant. I'd recommend exfoliating the day before and day of, do not use any numbing creams because they won't go deep enough to help and can effect the wax attaching to hairs, also if you need pain relief take a Tylenol 30 minutes before. As long as you breathe it's not that bad. The first time is the worst. And every time after that it becomes more bearable. I've only had it done a few times so far and I don't even notice when they are doing it now. (I'm 29 weeks)

I've been getting Brazilian waxed for the last 7 years and have continued during my pregnancy. It is soooooo nice not to have to worry about having the hair down there, especially in the back! It is gonna hurt like hell, but we are going to have to go through so much more pain during labor than the waxing will ever be. You can do it!

I’ve heard you can use a cooling spray before you go in to numb the area a little. Since everything down there is swollen right now

I’ve thought about this but I don’t want to spread eagle in front of a stranger. How on earth do you get comfortable with that?!?

Take a Tylenol beforehand and exfoliate! That should help prevent ingrown hairs as welll. I was getting it done for 2 years but stopped when I got pregnant because the hair texture changed and I’m a wuss for pain. I’ll go back after baby though when everything’s not swollen anymore  😖

I’ve been getting waxed for a couple of years, if you are going to start it I would start it now, the first few months are the toughest because the hair is so thick. After that it grows in thinner and finer. Also if you have very thick, coarse hair it will hurt more and you may bleed so I wouldn’t recommend doing it very close to delivery as it will increase the chance of infection/ingrown hairs and I don’t think you want to be dealing with that and recovering from childbirth

I get my whole body waxed once a month, and I start with the Brazilian so that I can get it done with and relax until they are done 😅 my advice is to make sure your hair is not too long, and to trim it if it is. If it's too long it will hurt a lot more and be harder to remove. If it's too short it's also hard to get everything off. Around 0.5cm is usually a good length. Also opt for hard wax if it's available because it is a lot gentler on the skin. Make sure to pee and wash/dry the area before going in for your own comfort and hygiene. It's a painful 20-30 min but completely worth it in the end. Good luck!

I’ve been getting them as well. So worth it. Though I got them pre pregnancy. So much better than using a mirror or getting the hubby to help groom down there 😂

I used to get them done but I stopped because my skin got too sensitive & I would get irritated/red bumps despite putting on the gel that they recommended for after care 🙄 so it wasn’t cute lol it was nice the times I went because everything was so smoothe 👻 but in my opinion it’s too expensive & for the skin problems i had it wasn’t worth it.
