Is it normal for spotting after a bm?

I just had a bm and after I wiped there was a tiny bit of bright red spotting. It literally was maybe a drop it wasn’t a lot at all and only when I wiped. It just worried me since it was bright red. 12w4d. Thanks

I had this lady week....midwife referred me to early pregnancy unit to get checked and internal examination showed an Ectropian Cervix. V common in pregnancy and the bowel movement strain can cause the bleeding....
Get checked for peace of mind!

Other thought would be are you sure it was vaginal? Sometimes irritated skin/hemorrhoids can give small amounts of bright red blood too, especially after BM
