So I’m in my 3rd year of college and major in psychology. My whole family has served, including my mom, dad, both brothers, my fiancé, my grandparents, my uncles, cousins, literally everyone. It’s not hard to feel like I should as well, and I’ve always thought about doing it. I recently lost 75lbs and am 10lbs away from the weight requirement for the Air Force. I have about 3 semesters left before I have my bachelors. My brother and I were talking last night and he told me that when I join after finishing school, I’ll go in as an Officer and would be higher than him and our other brother combined as well as making double the money. It all sounds so appealing. I just don’t know whether or not I should do it. I’m so stuck. 😩
