I’m producing lots of ewcm, cycle day 10, opks positive! But bbt hasn’t changed 🤷🏻‍♀️. Oh and pinching on one side. If I’m ovulating, shouldn’t my temps change? Yes it’s typical for me to ovulate early but like I said, temps aren’t changing... we shall see what tomorrow brings!

Answer

Your temps only go up the day AFTER ovulation. With a lot of charts (but not all) the day of ovulation is actually the lowest temp. Temping doesn’t tell you when you’re going to ovulate- it only confirms it after the fact. The “rule” is typically when you have a sustained rise which is 3 temps in a row that are higher than your last 6, then ovulation is confirmed as the day before the rise. 
Your only way to know ahead of time is using opks. The best method (IMO) is using the opks to predict when it’s about to happen and then temps throughout the cycle to confirm that it actually happened.
