I’ve had my nexplanon in since August. I didn’t have a period for the first three months and then in November I got a really dark brown discharge type of thing. November 5 is when I started my period and I had it until December 21. I know long periods are common with nexplanon but I started my period again on January 7 and i’m still bleeding a decent amount. is there’s anything I can do or ask my doctor for that will make my periods less intense or should I just go back to the pill? The only reason I wanted nexplanon was because it was way more effective than the pill and I wasn’t great at remembering to take it everyday. what is your experience with nexplanon? my anxiety sky rocketed about two weeks after i got it in and my body changed dramatically at different times in the month. I have terrible mood swings and i started to get acne (for someone who generally has extremely clear skin, it took me back) i’m really frustrated about trying to find a decent method.
