Constipation?

Anyone else having a really hard time with constipation? Any tips or advice? I’m miserable. I did call my doctor and started taking a stool softener and she also wants me to drink Metamucil but anything additional is greatly appreciated!

Are you getting enough fibers in your food? I was told to eat many more to avoid being constipated.. Maybe it can help a bit? 😊

Prunes. I also just started colace and miralax to help for the time being.

I just got upped from 325 mg of iron to 650 mg of iron a day. :/ so on top of being constipated already that doesn’t help. My doctor said I can take miralax though. My daughter has been on miralax for 6 years due to chronic constipation and she’s able to go now once or twice a day comfortably.

I started adding a fiber one snack before bed every night and now I go everyday!
